SPDB International Celebrates its 3rd Anniversary Proudly Supporting Arts Promotion and Charity Activities in Hong Kong
SPDB International Holdings Limited ("SPDBI", or "the Company"), the wholly-owned offshore subsidiary of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank ("SPD Bank"), as well as a leading financial services platform in Hong Kong, marks its 3rd anniversary in March. To celebrate the Anniversary, the Company supported the 22nd March performance of "Cecile McLorin Salvant and the Aaron Diehl Trio" at the 46th Hong Kong Arts Festival to actively contribute to the promotion of arts in Hong Kong.
The 28-year-old jazz vocalist Cecile McLorin Salvant won the first prize of the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2010 and started her career as a vocalist shortly thereafter. She received the Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2016 and 2018 respectively for her albums "For One To Love" and "Dreams and Daggers". Cecile, in the world of music, is an emerging superstar with tremendous energy and growth potential, similar to SPDBI, a rising star in the Hong Kongfinancial sector.

In addition, to contribute to arts education in Hong Kong and continue SPDBI's devotion to the community, the Company also invited a group of members from the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Symphonic Choir with strong passion in music to enjoy the performance together.

The Hong Kong Arts Festival is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the cultural life of the city. In February and March every year, the Festival presents 1,400 of the world's top artists and stars of tomorrow in approximately 120 performances, placing equal importance on great traditions and contemporary creations. The Festival also commissions and produces work in theatre, music, chamber opera and contemporary dance by Hong Kong's own creative talents and emerging artists, many of which have had successful subsequent runs both locally and overseas. The Festival also presents over 300 "PLUS" and educational activities that offer diverse arts experiences to the community as well as tertiary, secondary and primary school students.
